How to Revolutionize your life in 7 days

The other day I was doing a coaching session with a very successful client in the fitness industry.

She was telling me how she feels she needs to reinvent her life, how she would like to revolutionize her life into something new and fresh.

She is successful at what she does but she is burn out.

Can you relate to that?

In a way, I told her that I also want to reinvent my life. I need a revolution in my own life. I need a big breakthrough. I want a change.

I have reinvented my life several times during the past 12 years or so.

When I was living in Miami and I had a successful real estate business I felt as if I had to reinvent my life.

I decided to go to south East Asia: Thailand, and the Philippines. I was going to be there for two months…….

I ended up staying there two years.

When I look back this was an inflexion point in my life.

It was supposed to be a sabbatical year but it ended up being 2 super productive years.

Life was exciting because every day was new, was unpredictable.

When I look back I see this as one of the most exciting times in my whole life. Sometimes I ask myself how could I replicate this in my life now?

What could I do? I have made a commitment with myself to make my life truly extraordinary, to live in my own terms and this includes travelling and living an adventurous life.

Time is against you. Every day that passes without living fully is a day and time you have lost forever. There is no replay. There is no going back in time, at least not yet. Maybe one day we invent the machine for that too.

So going back to my client…….

I think that what my client was telling me was exactly this. She needs more excitement. She needs more passion in her life. She needs to live more intensively more adventurous.

Even for a successful business owner life can get monotonous, boring and predictable.

So, what can you do when you need to reinvent yourself or your life?

Here is a list you can try….

You can Start with these questions,

  1. What really excites me?
  2. What do I absolutely love to do even if I wouldn’t get a dime for it?
  3. What do I really want to do in my life?
  4. What are some of the things I always wanted to do but I couldn’t find the time, energy or money to do them?
  5. If I would give you 5 million right now what would you do with your life?
  6. If you had six months to live what would you do?

This last is a great question. If you had six months to live, what would you do in those six months? I guarantee you that if you had six months to live you would absolutely revolutionize your life. 

The key to revolutionize your life is to take action, take instant massive
and focused action. First is to think, to develop a strategy, then is to take action.

 

Actions this week

  1. SUNDAY:

    Life plan. Spend this Sunday morning writing and writing about your life. Write a diary with important questions. Write everything that comes to you. Get it all out.

Answer these 5 previous questions. Write for at least several hours. Do mind mapping of the most important things in your life.
Go to http://www.turbomind.com/2015/07/24/your-100-lifetime-dream-exercise/ and download the 100-Dream Exercise Form.

Write everything you want to do, achieve, become manifest and contribute in your life. Don’t hold anything back. Go full out. Everything you want to do in your life from today. There is also a section with the 20-most important things.

  1. MONDAY:

    Go outside and exercise outside, in nature. Ideally do something that involves moving and exercising, can be something as easy and relaxing as mountain walking.Get connected to yourself and with nature.Spending hours outside walking, moving and breathing clean fresh air can be transformative. The noise of the city as well as the pollution can sleep our senses and put our brains and desires to sleep. Shake your senses forcefully by moving and exercising outside.
    I recommend you spend at least three hours in nature, ideally more that. You want full connection with nature and yourself.


Get fresh air and sunlight. Some people spend so much on the computer, they forget to go outside and just be there.

  1. TUESDAY;

    Get a coach, a coaching buddy and start a mastermind group.If there is one thing that has helped me inmensively in my life is to get a coach and to do mastermind groups with other people, including friends.Get a coaching buddy. It’s a little more informal than a professional life or business coach but it will help both of you. Give the group a name. These types of groups can be therapeutic even if you meet once a week.

    You can meet once a week. The purpose of these groups is not to criticize but to support each other in improving your lives and get unconditional support. Spend at least one hour, ideally two with your coaching buddy.

    A` mastermind group is basically the same as a coaching buddy but with more than two people. It also offers support. Usually a mastermind group meets once a month instead of every week as the coaching buddy. It can be a virtual meeting too. In order to maintain long term participation a virtual meeting is also a great option.


I recommend you write a small commitment letter and agreement with the group members of the time you will meet and the participation requirements.

  1. WEDNESDAY:

    Get a professional life or business coach. The next level of support is to get a coach. The right coach can help you revolutionize and reinvent your life probably more than anything else you can do.Choose the right coach not any coach. You can call me if you need help. We all need support. I have great introductory session for a small fee.A professional life or business coach. A coach is someone you can trust and like and can share your deepest desires, emotions and dreams.

  2. THURSDAY:

    Go and HELP someone. Go visit a charity and focus on helping someone. When you help and support other people you automatically feel better, inspire to do things and improve your own life.Spend one full day helping and supporting people.

  3. FRIDAY

    Get out of your COMFORT ZONE.


Get out of your grey area. Do things that are challenging, that scare you. Invite someone on a date, or ask someone out that you would never do in a 1000 years. Talk to strangers.

Challenge yourself. Challenge your self-limiting believes. Challenge your hard lines. Go out and do something outrageous.
Challenge your comfort zone in any way, form or shape you can. Get ready to get uncomfortable. Push your comfort zone. Expand yourself. Show what you are capable of doing with a little courage.

  1. SATURDAY

    A PROMISE. Make a commitment to live an extraordinary life. Every single major thing you have achieved in your life is probably because you made the decision to do so. You made a powerful decision and follow it with a strong action plan.


The only way to revolutionize your life is to
make a commitment to do so, to have an agreement and a promise.  Things usually don’t happen by accident. They can happen. But usually extraordinary things are either attracted or achieved or a little of both.


It takes a diligent effort to make your life amazing. The good news is that you can have it all. It’s possible. Maybe is not easy but it’s possible. You have the power to create your life as you wish.
